*RCS Auditions*
Auditions for RCS are held throughout the
season. Currently, we schedule auditions on a Tuesday, following
a regular rehearsal. RCS rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, from
7:30 until 9pm at Christ Episcopal Church (on the corner of 5th
and Court Streets), Reading, PA. You are welcome to sit in on
one of our rehearsals to decide if you think you would like to
audition. Please call the RCS office at (610)898-1939 or e-mail
us at information@readingchoral.org to schedule your visit
and/or audition appointment.
Auditions will consist of vocalizing and sight reading exercises
and will last no more than ten minutes. A prepared solo is not
necessary.
Some music reading ability is required, but you need not read at
an expert level.
Anyone auditioning by mid-January will be able to
sing with us in our April concert – see concert schedule.
