Summer Sing 2

Over 40 enthusiastic singers participated in today’s “Summer Sing 2” held at West Lawn United Methodist Church. Under the leadership of Matthew Hayes, and accompanist Mary Bishop, a variety of music was sung and attendees socialized over lunch..

RCS would love to have you join us! Auditions held following a rehearsal. We rehearse every Tuesday September through April from 7pm to 9pm at Christ Episcopal Church in Reading. Contact the RCS office or a member if interested

Auditions For The Reading Choral Society

Auditions for RCS are held throughout the season. Currently, we schedule auditions on a Tuesday, following a regular rehearsal. RCS rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, from 7:00 until 9:00pm at Christ Episcopal Church (on the corner of 5th and Court Streets), Reading, PA. You are welcome to sit in on one of our rehearsals to decide if you think you would like to audition. Please call the RCS office at (610)898-1939 or e-mail us at to schedule your visit and/or audition appointment.

Auditions will consist of vocalizing and pitch exercises and will last no more than ten minutes. A prepared solo is not necessary. 

Some music reading ability is required, but you need not read at an expert level
